Verbunden ist damit die Hoffnung, dass die Transparenz zur Erreichung der selbstgesteckten Klimaziele beitragen.<\/h2>\n<p>Rechenzentren verbrauchen eine Menge Energie. Mit der steigenden Nachfrage nach Rechenleistung w\u00e4chst auch die Nachfrage nach Energie, was wiederum zu Treibhausemissionen f\u00fchrt. Amazon Web Services (AWS) hat sich verpflichtet, seinen CO2-Fu\u00dfabdruck bis 2040 auf Null zu reduzieren, zehn Jahre vor dem Pariser Abkommen. Die Versorgung des Unternehmens mit 100% erneuerbarer Energie ist ein wichtiger Schl\u00fcssel zu dieser Verpflichtung.
