Der Netzwerktechnologie-Spezialist Sercomm hat ein neues Cellular-IoT-Modul vorgestellt, das auf dem nRF9151-Referenzdesign von Nordic Semiconductor basiert.<\/h2>\n

Das Modul mit der Bezeichnung TPM530M<\/a> integriert das Nordic nRF9120 System-on-Chip (SoC) sowie zugeh\u00f6rige Power-Management- und RF-Komponenten und richtet sich an Anwendungen, die zuverl\u00e4ssige Mobilfunkverbindungen bei gleichzeitig geringem Energieverbrauch ben\u00f6tigen.<\/p>\n

Mit Abmessungen von lediglich 14,55 x 14,51 x 1,85 mm ist das TPM530M besonders f\u00fcr platzkritische Einsatzszenarien geeignet \u2013 darunter Smart Metering, Bike Sharing, Wearables, Smart City-L\u00f6sungen, Sicherheitstechnik, Asset Tracking und Umwelt\u00fcberwachung<\/strong>. Das Modul unterst\u00fctzt LTE-M und NB-IoT in mehreren Frequenzb\u00e4ndern und verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber Funktionen wie GPS sowie ein erweitertes Betriebstemperaturspektrum von -40 bis +85 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr Entwickler bietet das Modul einen 64-MHz-Arm\u00ae-Cortex\u00ae-M33-Anwendungsprozessor mit 1 MB nichtfl\u00fcchtigem Speicher und 256 KB RAM. Dar\u00fcber hinaus stehen Schnittstellen wie SPI, UART, I2C, PWM, ADC und 32 GPIOs zur Verf\u00fcgung. Der Stromverbrauch ist im Power Saving Mode (PSM) mit Speichererhalt auf 2,7 \u00b5A reduziert; im eDRX-Modus liegt der Durchschnittsverbrauch bei 6 \u00b5A f\u00fcr LTE-M bzw. 9 \u00b5A f\u00fcr NB-IoT.<\/p>\n

Sercomm setzt zudem auf das nRF Connect SDK von Nordic, das Entwickler bei der Umsetzung von LTE-M- und NB-IoT-Produkten unterst\u00fctzt.
