Anfang des Monats gab Teradata bekannt, dass es gemeinsam mit Cisco an einer \u201edigitalen Transformationsl\u00f6sung\u201c f\u00fcr smarte St\u00e4dte und Gemeinden arbeite.<\/h2>\n

Durch die Kombination der Vorteile der IoT-Plattform von Cisco (Cisco Kinetic for Cities<\/a>) mit der Teradata Analytics Platform<\/a> soll deren gemeinsame L\u00f6sung dazu beitragen, dass smarte St\u00e4dte zuk\u00fcnftig noch intelligenter und besser vernetzt werden.<\/p>\n

Cisco und Teradate wollen eine leistungsstarke L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr den integrierten Datenaustausch schaffen. Dabei zeichnet sich die Cisco Kinetic for Cities Plattform durch die sichere Erfassung, Aggregation und Normalisierung von Informationen aus verschiedenen, isolierten st\u00e4dischen Anwendungen in Bereichen wie etwa Beleuchtung, Verkehr und Parkplatzmanagement aus.<\/p>\n

Die Data-Analytics-L\u00f6sung von Teradata verkn\u00fcpfe diese Daten mit anderen Informationen – zum Beispiel aus B\u00fcrgerbefragungen, Informationen aus Zahlungssystemen und analytischen Anwendungen.<\/p>\n

Das erlaube es den Kommunen, umfangreiche Erkenntnisse aus ihren Daten zu ziehen. Denn durch verschiedene Analysemethoden sowie leicht verst\u00e4ndliche Visualisierungen k\u00f6nnten die Verantwortlichen fundiertere, datenbasierte Entscheidungen treffen.<\/p>\n

„Die St\u00e4dte befinden sich derzeit in einem Prozess des Umdenken, und beginnen zu erkennen, dass ihre Daten einen echten Wert haben<\/a>, der neue Dienste und F\u00e4higkeiten erm\u00f6glichen kann, um ihre B\u00fcrger und Besucher besser zu bedienen. Um dies zu erreichen, m\u00fcssen smarte St\u00e4dte auf ein umfassendes und robustes Analyse-\u00d6kosystem zur\u00fcckgreifen k\u00f6nnen.
