Mit einem umfangreichen IoT-Pilotprojekt will Martinfeld, ein Ortsteil in der th\u00fcringischen Gemeinde Schimberg, zum einem Vorreiter des IoT<\/a> in Deutschland werden.<\/h2>\n

Das Ziel des ambitionierten Internet of Things<\/a> Projektes SMARTinfeld<\/a>: Die deutschlandweit h\u00f6chste Dichte von IoT-Anwendungen in einer Gemeinde zu realisieren. Den ersten Meilenstein auf dem Weg zur Smart City<\/a> erreichte SMARTinfeld vor zwei Jahren; mit Errichtung und Betrieb eines LoRaWan-Gateways am 30.06.2016.<\/p>\n

(Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) ist ein Low-Power-Wireless-Netzwerkprotokoll. Die LoRaWAN-Spezifikation wird von der LoRa Alliance festgelegt, ist frei verf\u00fcgbar und nutzt die propriet\u00e4re Chirp Spread Spectrum Modulationstechnik \u201eLoRa\u201c der Semtech Corporation. Sie ist asymmetrisch auf Energieeffizienz der IoT-Ger\u00e4te ausgerichtet und erreicht hierbei hohe Reichweiten (>10 km) f\u00fcr die Uplink-Kommunikation, also das Senden vom IoT-Ger\u00e4t an das Netz. Die Daten\u00fcbertragungsrate rangiert zwischen 292 Bit\/s und 50 Kilobit\/s. – Quelle: Wikipedia<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n

Als \u201eProof of Concept\u201c betreibt die Gemeinde bis heute Wetterstationen, die z.B. die aktuelle Temperatur in Martinsfeld alle zehn Minuten messen – und \u00fcber das Gateway an einen der SMARTinfeld Server \u00fcbermitteln, der die Daten in das WWW weiterleitet.<\/p>\n

Ende 2016 erfolgte die Umr\u00fcstung einiger Stra\u00dfenleuchten auf LED-Leuchtmitteln mit IoT-Steuerungs- und \u00dcberwachungstechnologie. Mit der Umr\u00fcstung nur eines begrenzten Bereiches sollte zun\u00e4chst sichergestellt werden, ob die Leuchten sich harmonisch in das Stra\u00dfenbild einf\u00fcgen w\u00fcrden \u2013 und ob das moderne Leuchtmittel eine bestm\u00f6gliche Ausleuchtung erm\u00f6gliche.<\/p>\n

Vorbildlich agierte die Gemeinde dabei auch in Sachen B\u00fcrgerbeteiligung. An den umger\u00fcsteten Masten wurden Feedback-Buttons installiert, mittels derer Ge- oder Mi\u00dffallen bekundet werden konnte.<\/p>\n

Das \u00fcberwiegende Feedback fiel dabei positiv aus, so das nun mit dem n\u00e4chsten Schritt begonnen – und die gesamte Stra\u00dfenbeleuchtung auf intelligente LED-Leuchten umgestellt wird.<\/p>\n

\u201eDas Ziel ist es im ersten Schritt, einen stabilen Betrieb der Stra\u00dfenleuchten sicherzustellen \u2013 wohlwissend, dass man als Pionier auf dem Gebiet ein gewisses Risiko eingeht. Vergleichbare Projekte im Hinblick auf Gr\u00f6\u00dfenordnung und Technik gibt es aktuell in Deutschland nicht.<\/em>\u201c – Jan Bose (Alpha-Omega Technology<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Die verwendeten IoT-Sensoren in den Leuchtmitteln erkennen defekte Lampen und steuern bei Bedarf die Schaltzeit jeder einzelnen Stra\u00dfenleuchte. Bei Ereignissen im Dorf, wie zum Beispiel Volksfesten, l\u00e4sst sich die Schaltzeit der Stra\u00dfenleuchten abweichend von den normalen Betriebszeiten steuern.<\/p>\n

\u201eNeben dem Service, den wir unseren Einwohnern und Besuchern von Veranstaltungen bieten wollen, steht nat\u00fcrlich der Sicherheitsaspekt im Vordergrund, um Unf\u00e4lle zu vermeiden.<\/em>\u201c – Ortsteilb\u00fcrgermeister Gerhard Stitz.<\/p>\n

Auch reduziert die Gemeinde ihre Ausgaben f\u00fcr die Stra\u00dfenbeleuchtung mit dem Einsatz der neuen Technik erheblich – man rechnet mit einer potentiellen Einsparung von bis zu 80% der bislang aufgewendeten Energie – und erh\u00f6ht dabei trotzdem Sicherheit und Komfort. Dieses Projekt stellt auch die Weichen f\u00fcr zuk\u00fcnftige digitale Services in Martinfeld.
