Mit Blick auf 5G werden laut Prognose im Jahr 2023 mindestens 20 Prozent des weltweiten mobilen Datenverkehrs in 5G-Netzen stattfinden.<\/p>\n<p>(5G &#8211; 5<sup>th<\/sup> generation mobil network: Next Generation Mobile Networks (kurz NGMN) ist ein laufendes Projekt von Mobilfunkfirmen und Mobilfunkausr\u00fcstern zur Entwicklung der n\u00e4chsten Mobilfunkgeneration. Die mit Stand 2015 umgesetzte Generationen sind UMTS (3G) und LTE (4G). Das Projekt besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit \u201e4G\u201c (vierte Generation) LTE-Advanced (LTE+) und \u201e5G\u201c, der f\u00fcnften Generation. &#8211; Quelle: <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Next_Generation_Mobile_Networks#5G_%E2%80%9EFifth_Generation%E2%80%9C\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wikipedia<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Die kommerzielle Einf\u00fchrung von 5G-Netzen wird noch in 2018 erwartet &#8211; bis 2023 wird Nordamerika voraussichtlich f\u00fchrend sein, gefolgt von Nordost-Asien und Westeuropa.<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;<em>Ein Meilenstein f\u00fcr diese Entwicklung wird die kommerzielle Einf\u00fchrung von 5G ab Ende 2018 sein. Wir sehen hier Nordamerika, Nordost-Asien und Westeuropa vorne.<\/em>&#8220; &#8211; Olaf Reus (Initiative D21 \/ Ericsson GmbH)<\/p>\n<p>Anwendungsbeispiele der neuen Mobilfunktechnologie 5G demonstrierte Ericsson auch w\u00e4hrend deren \u201eInnovation Day\u201c Ende Juni 2018 in Aachen. Hier stellte Ericsson unter anderem zahlreiche 5G-Anwendungen f\u00fcr Konsumenten und f\u00fcr die Industrie 4.0 vor. Darunter virtuelle Jam-Sessions, bei denen Musiker an verschiedenen Orten auf eine (simulierte) Entfernung von 1.400 Kilometern gemeinsam musizierten; Anwendungsbeispiele f\u00fcr den Materialtransport 4.0 und praktische Beispiele f\u00fcr die Vernetzungen von Dienst- und anderen Leistungen in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lemonbeat.de\/lemonbeat-iot-betriebssystem\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Smart Cities<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus fanden auch auf der Autobahn 9 im Bundesland Bayern k\u00fcrzlich erfolgreiche Erprobungen des CAT M1 (CAT M1 ist eine Technologie, die einen geringen Stromverbrauch erfordert und im Gegensatz zu Narrowband-IoT auch Sprach- und Handover-Funktionen bietet.) im 5G Netz statt. Hier lag der Fokus der Test auf der Mobilit\u00e4t vernetzter Fahrzeuge.<\/p>\n<p>Der Ericsson Mobility Report soll Prognosen und Analysen der neuesten Trends in der Mobilfunkbranche bieten.
