For his Master Thesis he studied in-car WLAN IEEE 802.11n/ac connections at Daimler AG in Sindelfingen. Another station was at Austrian Zumbotel Group as Wireless Technology Expert in the field of Smart Lighting and general IoT applications.
Oliver van der Mond, CEO of Lemonbeat GmbH, possesses more than 35 years of experience in the field of IT, beginning with the first days of the Apple II. Alongside extensive entrepreneurial experience, he is well connected within the energy industry and previously lead in various management positions in the field of finance, IT and marketing in Europe as well as in the United States.
Ilja is Lemonbeat’s Evangelist and Community Manager. He’s previously worked in Canada, the UK, and France in video games, multimedia, QA, Search engines, developer relations and has organized the last iteration of the Launchpad Week in Munich. He loves traveling, reading, and meeting new friends, and has a passion for new and disruptive technologies. He is a big fan of continuous testing and fascinated by the changes in society through new technology.
Marco Scholtyssek studied Technical Computer Science in Dortmund and works as an Embedded Software Developer for Lemonbeat. His technical background is based on embedded systems and robotics and he is also involved in organizing software projects. When he isn't busy with technical projects, he spends time with running, cooking, travelling and exploring nature.
Frank Alexander Reusch studied in Koblenz (Germany) business administration and informatics and holds a certificate course of the George Washington University in the field of “International Project Leadership”. Since 2001 he works for RWE IT GmbH as a project manager. Frank Reusch works in W3C intensively on the standardization of a communication protocol in the group “Web of Things”. He is Senior Product Manager in the Lemonbeat GmbH, a subsidiary of innogy SE. He gives lectures and presentations around the world regarding the Internet of Things and his practical experience.
Guido Vogel is Head of Sales at Lemonbeat GmbH. During the past two decades he has held numerous customer oriented positions in sales, marketing, business development and general management. After his studies at Westfälische Hochschule, Germany he worked four years at Mitsubishi Electric and 12 years at Innolume GmbH, which finally he led as a CEO. Guido joined Lemonbeat in June 2016 with the goal of strengthening the customer basis.
Edmund Barrett studied a BA (Hons) International Business Studies with German at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, England. After 6 years at npower Limited in the UK, working predominantly on energy efficiency-related customer propositions, he then moved to Germany and began working for RWE Effizienz GmbH. A further 4 years spent working on the home automation system innogy SmartHome (formerly RWE SmartHome) in a product management role gave him a good understanding of smart devices and communication protocols. This experience led him to becoming an initial project team member for Lemonbeat prior to the creation of Lemonbeat GmbH, after which, in January 2016, he then joined the company officially. He leads our Technology Partner Management program.
